Some people just aren’t meant to own pets. Whether it’s because of neglect or overindulgence, some pet owners let their animals run rampant and run not only their household, but sometimes the entire neighborhood. And I say pet owners, but let’s be real, it’s like 90% dog owners. There’s something about owning a dog that attracts people who have zero interest in taking care of their pet.
Check out these stories and screenshots of some of the worst pet owners the internet has to offer. These people need to be sent to the pound.

1. Foster? You mean dog sitting service?
This delusional dog owner reached out to a foster home for rescue dogs and demanded they watch their dog while they go on vacation -

5. My dog wants iTunes gift cards for his birthday

6. A laundry list of requirements
This dog owner has a whole lot of prerequisites that their dog sitter must meet in order to mind their 140 pound dog, including signing a written agreement. It’s apt that the dog’s name is Zero, because I bet this person is paying their sitter ‘Zero’ dollars. -
7. I want somebody else to own a dog

I don’t know if I want to own a dog that is confident enough in its fighting abilities to attack a bull. -
10. Bad first impression
“I went on a date with a man who bought an Australian shepherd. We had one when we were kids who was a family pet but still helped herd cows, so he was very well trained. His dog was EXTREMELY reactive and had not been trained at all. Like no commands. So I ended the date early when he tried introducing me and the dog bit me a few times and even attacked his roomate at one point lol.” - sadsporkyy -

13. Roaming dog packs
“I live in a pretty s—-y neighbourhood and every owns a pitbull/staffy/bully mutt thing. (No hate I have a pitty too) but so many of them leave their gates open and let the dogs walk them selves. Every day on my areas community FB page there are people walking dogs getting attacked by these dogs that form mini packs and go around mauling people and pets. I can’t even blame the dogs though they’re all kept outside and shown no love. The pound picks them up and if you don’t get em back within 7 days they’re destroyed. Gives the breed a terrible name and makes it hard for us normal people with such loving dogs to go about normal things like walks and socialising.” - Notthebumboy -
14. Chester the murder doggo
My dog wants to kill and eat every animal he comes across, isn’t he so cute?? -
15. Hannibal Lecter in dog form
“Rudy attacks his human family to kill for very subtle reasons” is a sentence that has never been uttered before or again in human history -
16. Two trained attack dogs knocked the door off its hinges
