In the 1960s, a wave of protests against American involvement in Vietnam swept through the United States.
With the presence of U.S. troops in Vietnam increasing during 1963, student protests quickly sprung up across college campuses. The movement escalated, and an entire generation took to the streets to support peace in the face of seemingly endless war.
Flower power clashed with cops, massive demonstrations overtook the Capitol & other major cities, and even the Statue of Liberty was seized by Vietnam vets in defiance of the government they fought for.
Go inside the protests and experience what it was like to be one of the citizens in the sixties marching for peace.
