“Um” is not an answer!

Judy Sheindlin, aka Judge Judy, was on the air for 25 seasons from 1996 to 2021 (and a few more on Amazon, for some reason). Across that time, she heard a wide range of ridiculous cases, from people breaking each other’s toilets to dudes accidentally confessing to the crime while on air.

Throughout all of these cases, she showcased a trademark wit and sharpness that led to her becoming a household name. Sure, it wasn’t all peaches and candy — there were allegations that working for the show exposed employees to sexual harassment, racism, on-the-job-drinking and more — but regardless, Judge Judy’s legacy, and her harsh words, live on.
