They’re just built differently in Russia.

Whenever you see a crazy video online, much of the insanity can be easily explained once you realize the clip was filmed in Russia. It’s not that Russia is *that* different from the United States; it’s more that Russians have a higher tolerance for strangeness and violence than we do. We see a bear and run — they see a bear and wonder if it would like to share a drink with it.

In this case, an 80-year-old woman in Russia fell out of a sixth-floor window, landed on a car, then got up as though nothing had happened. In a statement, an unnamed Russian official said that she fell out of the window “due to her own carelessness” and that she was being treated in a hospital.
