Just hire a professional!

For some reason, people think it’s really easy to chop down a tree. Who knows, maybe it’s just because the cartoons made it look simple. But while it *is* easy to bring a tree down, getting it to fall in the direction you want — and not hurt anyone in the process — is pretty difficult.

This is a lesson people have had to learn time and time again. And, hell, if we have to learn it yet another time, so be it.
