Every few years, some charlatans come along and tell us that, someday, we’re all going to be living in virtual reality. Of course, this isn’t true, and every attempt at creating this VR world has been either low-quality, miserable or some combination of the two.

That doesn’t mean the world of VR socialization is *totally* dead. There’s VR chat, for example, where you can become an avatar and talk to other people. You can also, as this dude found out, put collars on other people — something that makes them really, really mad.
