Who said that zoos weren’t educational?

In recent years, numerous zoos have said that their attendance numbers are going down. What gives? Are people just not happy to see wild animals confined in cages anymore? Or are the animals just not being fun enough to attract big crowds?

I have a hard time believing the latter, especially when there are animals out there doing stuff like this. Over in China, a hippo decided to let one rip for a bunch of zoo guests, and the resultant fart lasted an incredible 15 seconds. Guess the hippo diet has more beans than I thought!
