LAPD Gets Roasted After Needing 20 Squad Cars to Get One Suspect
Gotta put that $2.14 billion to use somehow!
The cops get a lot of hate online, just because they’re incompetent and occasionally evil. But that’s really not fair to the Boys in Blue — do you know how hard it is to explain to your superior that you accidentally ran over another officer with your car! That’ll make *anyone* do hard drugs!
Still, it’s a hard job. It’s so hard, in fact, that, according to the police, you occasionally need a couple dozen cops just to apprehend a single person.
According to KTLA, L.A. police were attempting to apprehend a man who was wanted for alleged domestic violence when he sped off. The cops soon gave chase, but, for some reason, no one could catch the guy. And so, the police just kept calling more and more officers until the car came to a stop and dozens of cops piled upon the suspect.
Why invest in better training when you can just call more cops?
A few dozen police officers swarmed a driver after a pursuit ended in a short standoff alongside the 90 Freeway near Marina del Rey Friday morning.
