To which the officer responded by crashing the car.
You’d think that, by now, we’d have figured out the whole “handcuffs” thing. As it turns out, we haven’t — most police handcuffs use the same key that you can pretty easily buy, and if a cop doesn’t click in the cuffs all the way, it doesn’t take a genius to just slide out of them.
In this guy’s case, he realized that his cuffs were a little loose, and so, he just eased out of them. And, if you’re going to escape from your cuffs, why not just add to your rap sheet by trying to start the cop car on fire?
Well, the reason you don’t do that is because of what happened next: The officer crashed the car and ejected the suspect out of the rear.
