What is art, anyway?

The world of contemporary art gets a lot of roasting, much of it warranted. As much as you can be moved by a simplistic piece or a sculpture that, reasonably, a child could create, there’s no doubt that some of the prices that the art world commands are, to put it lightly, fucked.

For example, while we can all enjoy Andy Warhol’s “Shot Sage Blue Marilyn,” would we really cough up $195 million to hang it in our living rooms? I think not.

Plus, given how seemingly easy some contemporary art pieces are to create, one might be struck with the simple question “What is art?”

To answer this question, the man in the videos has decided to frame bread and hang it in museums — and even attracted some admirers in the process!
