The services frequently glitch out or produce incorrect information, and so far, the only real uses for artificial intelligence have been generating funny images and increasing the rate at which Boomers are losing their minds.

Still, that hasn’t stopped people from trying to shove it into every single part of our lives, no matter how poorly it fits. For example, Jerome Dewald, a plaintiff in an employment dispute who was representing himself, decided that for his opening statement, he was going to play an A.I.-generated video — something that, as you can see, immediately pissed off the judges present.
