This is the one time where I think a soccer player isn’t faking their injuries.

Soccer players love to play up the theatrics whenever they get injured. A player will slip, then dramatically grab their knee and cry out in pain — all until the ref determines whether their performance has been convincing enough to earn the opposing team a yellow card.

That said, it feels like whatever injury sustained from this was probably legitimate. Here, a soccer player kicks a ball into one of her opponents, at which point it hits them in the face and ricochets into another opponent’s face.

I’m sure it was an accident, but hell, this might be a good strategy!
