Surprisingly, if you’re struck by lightning, you’re more than likely going to survive. In fact, only 1 in 10 people who have been struck by lightning die — which is, you know, significant, but probably fewer than you’d expect given that lightning has about 300 million volts and 30,000 amps.

In this case, an Australian teen says she was on TikTok in her room when she was suddenly struck by lightning. According to her and her father, the lightning bolt went through her arm and, in the end, came out her butt.

She says that she hasn’t developed superpowers yet, but that she’s gonna play the lottery to see if her luck continues.
