Maybe it’s time to stop these then, eh?

You might remember that story from a few months back in which a woman portraying a mermaid at a Chinese water show got her head chomped by a massive fish. Now, there’s been another incident at one of these shows.

During a recent performance, one of the mermaids apparently blacked out mid-performance, causing her to sink to the bottom (some sources say she blacked out; others say she simply lost her flippers and was unable to move — perhaps it was a mix of both).

Thankfully, she was soon rescued. But maybe this is a sign that a show where people pretend to be able to breathe underwater is a bad idea!
