This Is What It’s Like to Drive During Australia’s Locust Season

There are some parts of the world where bugs are a really big problem. I mean, like, actually big — Australian locusts, for example, are, on average, about an inch and a half long.


That wouldn’t be much of a problem if they a) were solitary animals or b) left people alone. Unfortunately, neither of those things are true, and if you have the displeasure of visiting certain parts of the country when locust season is in full swing, you’re more than likely going to see something like this:
