Wow, look at the death-inducing beauty!

If your car has suddenly become electrified — say, by running into power lines — experts advise that you stay in your car. This is because touching the outside of the car (which is now filled with a helluva lot of electricity) causes all of that energy to go right through you, generally killing you on the spot.

This is easier said than done, as most people’s instinct when seeing their car covered in electrical fire is “get me the hell out of here.”

Apparently not knowing what he’s supposed to do, this man fell out of his truck after his vehicle rammed into power lines — a move that probably saved his life. On a side note, doesn’t electrical fire look pretty cool?
