Streamer Gets 24-Hour Ban after Filming Herself Running a Red Light
Fingers crossed for a “streaming while driving” ban.
There’s been a lot of legislative action in recent years about “texting while driving.” While this is undoubtedly good in spirit, legislation like this is ignoring one of the more pressing issues plaguing the current roadways: streamers.
For some reason, people who stream while driving quickly lose all sense, and the internet is littered with numerous examples of streamers crashing their cars while live.
This streamer didn’t crash her car, but she ran a red light while live and looking at her phone. She *did* receive a 24-hour ban from Twitch for it, but seeing as she ends this clip by saying she usually just “go[es] past” red lights, I’m going to go ahead and guess she’s not gonna learn her lesson.
