U.K. Battery Factory Suddenly Explodes for the Second Time in A Year

On the upside, the price of housing is probably about to go down.


Over in Byrehill Place, Kilwinning, North Ayrshire, Scotland (jesus christ, guys, shorten your place names), there’s an issue: their local battery recycling plant keeps blowing up.


For the second time in around a year, the Fenix Battery Recycling plant has gone up in smoke, with residents advised to stay in their homes with the doors and windows shut. They’re also advised to ignored any batteries that they find lying around, which, duh.


While the fire has now been extinguished, police and firefighters are still working to ensure that the area is safe. In the meantime, here are some of the wild videos of the explosion:
