Often, tragedy brings a community closer to one another. Think about that warm, caring feeling we all had for about 20 minutes after 9/11, all the way up until we decided to use the tragedy to be racist. Wasn’t that nice, at least for a little bit?

In the case below, this group of people saw a few individuals committing a robbery, and so, they stepped into high gear. One woman began shouting their getaway car’s license plate; another sprayed their car with water (it’s not much, but it’s something!), while a third tried to smash out their windows with a hammer.
