Woman Gets Roasted After Saying ‘Dry Weddings’ Shouldn’t Exist
If you can’t get through a wedding without a cocktail, that’s your problem, not the bride and groom’s.
One of the joys of going to a wedding is (fingers crossed) an open bar. You don’t even need to get hammered to enjoy an open bar — just being able to go up to the bar, ask for any cocktail you please, then receive it without having to drop so much as a dime is bliss by itself.
That said, some weddings are “dry,” meaning that no alcohol is served. This is perfectly fine, of course; everyone’s relationship with alcohol is different, and maybe you just don’t want to serve booze because you know how Aunt Cindy gets after too many highballs.
At least, *I* think it’s fine. But according to this woman, it’s “unacceptable,” akin to not providing food.
So? What do we think?
@alannavizzoni it’s simply hosting etiquette i’m so confused #wedding ♬ original sound - alanna!
